Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

 

The DME course is a three-year full-time course. First year course contents are common with those for the DARE, DBEN and DMRO courses. Of all the engineering disciplines, mechanical engineering can be considered to be the most diverse, covering a wide variety of engineering fields. In fact, mechanical engineers design and develop everything you can ever think of as a machine and in due course, influence the design of the products as well - from hi-tech fighter jets to devices that impact our everyday lives such as the mobile phone, computer and many more.

 

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE)

 

The DEEE course is a three-year full-time course. The future looks bright when you graduate from this course as you will be highly sought after in the Aerospace, Biomedical, Communications, Computer, Power, Control and Microelectronics Engineering sectors.

 

Diploma in Electrical & Communication Engineering (DECE)

 

The DECE course is a three-year full-time course. This course equips students with a comprehensive coverage of electrical and electronics theory and practice. It is designed to give a broad understanding of the electronics industry whilst allowing student to develop his or her own specialist skills during the second year.

 

Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE)

 

The DCE course is a three-year full-time course.This course aims at producing highly qualified, efficient technicians capable of meeting the requirements of the basic level of the Civil Engineering field. During the course of study, the student is exposed to various subjects of Civil Engineering such as Planning, Drafting (both manual and computer –aided), Surveying, Estimation & Costing, Construction Technology, Basics of Highway, Railway, Bridge, Airport, Tunnel and Harbour Engineering. Students are also exposed to software like AUTOCAD & STAAD.
